On June 23, a Chinese study and inspection delegation visited Hebei Nonghaha Machinery Group Co., Ltd. to learn about, inspect, and exchange ideas on mechanized comprehensive utilization of crop residues in the Asia-Pacific region and agricultural carbon emission reduction solutions.
This event was organized and implemented by the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific and the United Nations Centre for Sustainable Agricultural Mechanization, bringing together a total of 35 senior government officials from Southeast Asian countries responsible for agricultural machinery promotion, land use, and environmental management, as well as professors and experts in agricultural machinery from universities and research institutes.
The delegation first visited the Nonghaha exhibition hall, where Group Chairman Zhang Huanmin accompanied the experts and leaders in watching an introductory promotional video about Nonghaha.
Over the past three decades and more, Nonghaha has made its due contribution to the development of global agriculture. Subsequently, led by the translator, the delegation toured a range of equipment, including seed drills, rotary tillers, straw harvesters, sprinkler irrigation systems, and forage harvesters. The visitors even requested promotional brochures for each machine model and enthusiastically gave Nonghaha a thumbs-up!
Corporate culture is the driving force behind a company’s development. The inspection delegation then visited the corporate culture exhibition hall to gain an in-depth understanding of Nonghaha’s development journey.

The delegation’s leaders and experts then visited the demonstration field within the factory premises. There, they observed a live demonstration of the pneumatic seed drill in operation, showcasing no-till corn cultivation techniques; they also saw a forage harvester that can directly process crop residues into feed for cattle and sheep.
After the demonstration, we moved to the conference room for more in-depth study and mutual exchange.
Following the meeting, at the invitation of Director Li Qiang, the central project officer who led the inspection and exchange visit, everyone posed for a group photo. We would like to express our gratitude to Ms. Feng Yue’e, the center’s project coordinator, for providing interpretation services for this event. We are also deeply grateful to the leaders of Hebei Nonghaha Group!
